My friend is travelling to the U.S. tomorrow morning. She's an eager new knitter who is making a cute jacket for the baby she's expecting. And she'd love to bring her knitting needles to get through all the waiting on airports and to knit while onboard the plane. Will she be allowed to bring her needles (thin, double pointed needles in metal)? I wasn't sure what to advise her. Do you know the rules? She's flying KLM from Norway.
Totally unrelated photos: Filip's birthday gift (which I've been meaning to show you for some time) from his grandma: Incredibly cute mittens and felted booties. My mother-in-law is a great knitter. I feel blessed to have many knitters in my family, it's wonderful sharing my love for knitting with them. I love knitting with my mother-in-law, my grandmother or my mother when I visit them. Ah, the flow of creative juices!
